Kingdom Identity - Kings Do Business.
Welcome to another edition of the Life in Abundance Broadcast. This powerful episode concludes our enlightening series on Kingdom Identity as Kings. As believers, it’s essential to understand and embrace our divine mandate to operate as kings in God’s kingdom—ruling, influencing, and stewarding resources wisely.
The Duty of Kings: Doing Business
In Revelation 1:5-6 and Revelation 5:9-10, we’re reminded that we are made kings and priests unto God. One vital responsibility of kings is engaging in business—leveraging skills, talents, and opportunities to gather and manage resources. These resources empower us to fulfill other kingdom duties, such as good works, influence, and stewardship. Without resources, our ability to lead and make an impact is limited.
Jesus emphasized this principle in the parable of the nobleman (Luke 19:12-13). Before leaving, the nobleman entrusted his servants with resources and instructed them to “Do business until I return.” This call to action applies to every believer—whether in academia, entrepreneurship, farming, IT, or any profession. Whatever your gifting, maximize it to generate resources and expand God’s kingdom.
Maximize Your Potential
Your skills, talents, and opportunities are divine tools for business and resource management. Whether employed or self-employed, give your best effort. The resources you gather will equip you to engage in good works, influence others, and fulfill your role as a kingdom leader.
Remember: Your kingdom identity calls you to rule, influence, and steward. Do business until He comes.
